Jo Rosen, Owner

A working costume supervisor and costume designer in film and television, Jo’s craft has been honed over the years creating costumes and clothing for various clientele from multi-million dollar movies to high profile private clients. Jo’s talents in design and visual arts have earned her a reputation for keeping designers and producers happy while providing creative and beautiful costumes on time and on-budget. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she has spent close to twenty years in the film industry working in Los Angeles and throughout the United States. Her love of design, costuming, research and collaboration are strengths she lends to every build. Her design and fabrication know-how in contemporary and period clothing, rapport with directors, costume designers and production designers, and ability to find solutions make her an invaluable liaison to clients throughout the design-build process. Her expertise in textiles, clothing construction, jewelry making, aging/distressing, dyeing, and translating design ideas into practical reality ensure that each client’s vision comes to life.
