Jo Rosen, Owner

A working costume supervisor and costume designer in film and television, Jo’s craft has been honed over the years creating costumes and clothing for various clientele from multi-million dollar movies to high profile private clients.  Jo’s talents in design and visual arts have earned her a reputation for keeping designers and producers happy while providing creative and beautiful costumes on time and on-budget. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she has spent over a dozen years in the film industry working in Los Angeles and throughout the United States. Her expertise in textiles, clothing construction, aging/distressing, dyeing, and translating design ideas into practical reality ensure that each client’s vision comes to life.

Holly Hill, Owner

Holly has been designing and building costumes for film, television, stage and educational institutions around the world for almost two decades. After receiving her BA in Liberal Arts from Texas A&M, she has gone on to design projects in the US, Central and South America, China, and Europe. She made Los Angeles home in 2003. Her love of design, costuming, research and collaboration are the strengths she lends to Costume Co-Op. Her skill set includes patterning, historical textiles, costume construction, millinery, and resourcing. Her design and fabrication know-how in contemporary and period clothing, rapport with directors, costume designers and production designers, and ability to find solutions make her an invaluable liaison to clients throughout the design-build process.
